Really happy to hear that the AHA established a special Task Force on Disability. After attending a session yesterday enumerating their goals and soliciting audience input, I have high hopes for what the task force might accomplish. In the least, I hope they can establish a mentoring program and assemble resources for historians who deal with disability.

Wow, took so many notes that it will take forever to transcribe them here. The sessions I attended today definitely did not disappoint, but I was quite dismayed by the Hilton’s all-day meltdown of wireless internet service….sigh.
